Pittsburgh Steelers Hit with Injuries Ahead of Preseason Finale

Pittsburgh Steelers Hit with Injuries Ahead of Preseason Finale – Right before their last practice game, the Pittsburgh Steelers faced some new challenges. Coach Mike Tomlin shared that two players, Cam Heyward and James Daniels, got hurt.

These injuries meant that these two important players couldn’t participate in the game against the Atlanta Falcons. Coach Tomlin mentioned that the injuries aren’t too severe, but it’s unclear whether they will miss more games or when they’ll be back to practicing.

Even before the practice game, the Steelers were already missing two other key players, Larry Ogunjobi and Nate Herbig. Both of them got hurt during the practice games as well, and there’s no definite timeline for when they’ll recover and be able to play again.

Another player, Kevin Dotson, also had a shoulder injury to deal with.

Now, the Steelers will be taking a week off before they go up against the San Francisco 49ers in their first actual game. They’ll be doing some practice during this break, but not too much. After the holiday break on Labor Day, their practice sessions will ramp up as they prepare for the real game.
